to Barefoot Labradors of Killingworth
Barefoot Labradors, located Killingworth, CT, specializes in AKC black, yellow and
chocolate Labrador Retrievers for the family.
Our English style labs are AKC,
OFA,
OFEL,
CERF registered. They enjoy 12
wooded acres surrounded by Connecticut State Park and Killingworth Land Trust, and swim
in lab-friendly Pond Meadow Brook.
We breed for sound health and good temperament. We raise our puppies in a home environment and socialize them through frequent handling and play.
From their third to 16th day, we give them a series of gentle neurological stimulations
(The Bio Sensor Program) to improve cardio vascular perfomance, tolerance to stress and
resistance to disease.
 
All of our pups are have Dew Claws removed. They are examined by a Vet at 2-4 days and again at 6-weeks (1st immunization).
Our puppies go to their new families with immunization records, AKC Litter Pedigree Certificate, copies of their parents' OFA & CERF certificates, and general information about care and training.
They are sold with a limited AKC registration to help protect the breed from genetic faults. They come with a Hip, Eye and Health Guarantee.
Pups from our litters have become service dogs for
the deaf and physically disabled through the National Education of Assistance Dog Services (NEADS)
West Boylston, MA and the Forget-me-not Farm, Scotland, CT.

Free e-postcards
We have posted photos of puppies from our most recent litters so that our new puppy owners can send e-cards with a picture of their puppy to family and friends. Click here to send a free e-postcard.
Online Store
We have recently opened an Online STORE
with photos of puppies from recent litters that can be ordered as post cards, greeting
cards and other items. All proceeds go to help raise and train puppies for the physically challenged.

Chocolate Puppies
On June 12, 2007 Brook had her last litter of chocolate puppies (sired by our Moss). They are featured in the photos below.
We expect new litters from Brook's daughters, Maggie (Auguat 21) and Peanut (Septemer 30). If the breedings were successful, their pups will go to their new homes eight weeks later.
